About Live that Dream Fund

The Live That Dream Fund is set up by the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC), with the sole purpose of helping Singaporeans with disabilities realise their fullest ability. One of the best ways to help them achieve that is through sports.

Due to its interactive nature, sports can help to break down social barriers as well as help the disabled build up self-esteem, confidence and independence. Sports can also promote camaraderie, teamwork and friendship between the disabled and their able-bodied counterparts.

The fund ensures that athletes with disabilities receive long-term support in terms of access to sporting opportunities, proper training and coaching and given adequate preparations for their participation at major international championships.

About Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC)

Founded in 1973, the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is the only national sports body for the disabled in Singapore. It is a voluntary organisation registered with the Commissioner of Charities.

Sports for the disabled formed the very cornerstone of SDSC’s existence. SDSC’s goal is to promote, through sports, the well-being of the disabled in Singapore, helping them to live full and independent lives.
